#ValentinesDay is two days from now! You're a hustlin' bustlin' business owner. BUT. You're feeling a bit stressed, behind, overwhelmed, hey there's a global pandemic happening! Since it's cold as all heck outside in #Manitoba right now, I'm being resourceful and using what I have in my home right now.. I don't want to leave the house! So, lipstick it is!

5 LAST MINUTE VALENTINE'S DAY CAMPAIGN TIPS

1 - KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE


The first and most important tip! How can you sell something to someone if you don't know who that someone is? Make sure you understand who you are catering too and which audience you are targeting for your campaign. Make sure you analyze your demographics!

Hint: Take a look at your website analytics.

2 - HIGHLIGHT A FEATURE


If you are a product based business, you should place focus on one (or two) items. Arguably, you can do this for services as well! For a retailer or online biz, this can be your chance to feature a new product or try and expel old or overstocked inventory!


Hint: Less is more! People can get overwhelmed with too many options.

3 - CONSIDER PAIRING


You have your feature product selected; what could you pair with it? Pairing products can help increase sales.





Hint: Your selling and featuring a lipstick - it's paired with a moisturizing face mask or

earrings. Use what's in your inventory or partner with another local business!

4 - GET CREATIVE


Think about how you can creatively photograph and portray your products to draw interest for potential sales! There will undoubtedly be competition so you want to stand out from the rest.


Hint: Think about patterns, lines, shapes, symmetry.. back to the basics! Play with your products and get your hands dirty!



5 - IN THE SPOTLIGHT


Last but not least.. show that sh*t off! Take your featured product and flaunt it! It's the star of the show. Make it known through your advertising plan.




Hint: Touch base with your audience where they are most reachable! Remember those analytics.. and for fast turn around stick to digital! Emails, social media..
